These symptoms can evolve, dehydration leads to headache, low blood pressure, cramps, convulsions, all due to lack of electrolytes and minerals, not drinking enough water also influences diseases such as diabetes, cholesterol, constipation, poor digestion and ends up damaging the joints, skin and hair.
The organs that are most affected by lack of water in the body are the kidneys, brain and liver. Dehydration is the result of fluid loss in excess of what we ingest, this can be in a chronic diarrhea, severe vomiting, sweating, urination and not drinking the recommended amount of water per day to replace water loss.
Dehydration like any other disease should be prevented and in the case of reaching it attended, prolonged or unattended dehydration causes body tissues to dry out and the cells stop functioning, it can also come a blood shock or low blood volume that significantly lowers blood pressure and oxygen in the body which can lead to death.
